Congress candidate from ward no. 31 Neetu Choudhary, was weighed with laddus at an event organised by residents of Shyam Nagar in Baltana on Monday. She was campaigning for Zirakpur Municipal council elections, that will be held on February 14.
Talking to the media, Neetu Chaudhary urged people to vote for the development of the area. Neetu Chaudhary, who entered the election field for the first time.
Neetu Chaudhary is the daughter in law of Chaudhary Ram Kumar, the President of Govind Vihar Housing Welfare Society.
She promised to the people that the area will be developed if she won the election. She said that the previous elected representatives had done nothing for the ward.
Chaudhary Ram Kumar thanked the people gathered on the occasion and said that after getting elected Neetu Chaudhary will get full support of the society for the development of the area.
He said that in view of our work, people should come in large numbers in the election of this local body and give their valuable votes so that the development of the area can be ensured.
Govind Vihar Housing Society vice president Kuldeep Rana, vice-chairman DD Mittal and senior citizen Satpal Malik were also present at the event.
