UT Administration imposes lockdown in Chandigarh on Ram Navami

To prevent mass gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic, the UT Administration has decided to impose lockdown on the occasion of Ram Navami on Wednesday.

Panchkula administration has refused to impose a lockdown

The decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore in Chandigarh on Tuesday evening.

On Monday on Chandigarh adviser request, Punjab Government had already announced the lockdown in Mohali on Wednesday.
