Parliament session from Jan 29, Sitharaman to present Budget on Feb 1

Fifth Session of Seventeenth Lok Sabha will commence on Jan 29.

The Session is likely to conclude on 8th April.

According to the Lok Sabha Secretariat, the President will address both Houses of Parliament assembled together at 11.00am on 29th Jan.

Union Budget will be presented at 11 am on 1st Feb.

The session will be held in two parts — from January 29 to February 15 and March 8 to April 8.

In order to enable the Standing Committees to consider the Demands for Grants of Ministries/Departments and prepare their Reports, the House will adjourn on 15th February to meet again on 8th March.
