Oxygen Crisis: 20 patients die overnight at Delhi hospital; six dies in Amritsar’s private hospital

Around 20 critically ill patients died overnight at Jaipur Golden Hospital amid oxygen crisis in Delhi, said official.

Medical director of the hospital said: “Around 30 minutes of oxygen left. Have 200 patients. 80 per cent on oxygen support and 35 in ICU.”

The city has reported around 2,120 deaths due to the deadly virus in the last 11 days.

In Punjab, six patients died at a private hospital here on Friday night allegedly due to shortage of medical oxygen. The deceased included five Covid patients.
