Lockdown extended in Haryana till June 7; shopping malls to open

Haryana Government on Sunday extended the lockdown for another week till June 7 while allowing shopping malls to open with limited footfall.

During his digital press conference, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar stated that “Mahamari alert–Surakshit Haryana”(pandemic slert-safe Haryana) had been extended though the COVID situation in the state had improved but it has been decided to extend lockdown with more relaxations.

 

He said that the timings of the shops, which were allowed to open on odd-even basis, would be changed from 7 am to 12 noon to 9 am to 3 pm.

The shopping malls, which were not allowed the open earlier, would be allowed to open from 10 am to 6 pm with one customers per 25 square feet area, the CM added.
