Covid-19: Night curfew in Chandigarh from 6 pm to 5 am from April 29

The Chandigarh Administration has decided to impose corona curfew from 6 PM to 5 AM every day.

This will come into effect on 29th April, 2021 and will be in force till further orders.

According to the press note, All shops, malls, multiplexes etc will close by 5 PM every day with home delivery allowed upto 9 PM.

All non-essential activities will be banned during the night curfew.  No decision on Weekend Curfew in Chandigarh.

Guidelines:-

UT limits gatherings for marriages (50 people) and funeral (20 people) Transport buses will run with 50% capacity Gyms, spas and cinemas will remain closed till further orders

All Educational Institutions, School, Colleges, Coaching Institutions, Libraries etc. will remain closed till May 15, 2021.

However, Mohali has already imposed 6 pm to 5 am Night Curfew and in Panchkula ordered closure of shops by 6 pm.
