Chris Morris becomes most expensive foreign buy in IPL auction, breaks Yuvraj Singh’s record

South African all-rounder Chris Morris on Friday became the most expensive foreign buy in the IPL auction history with Rajasthan Royals shelling out Rs 16.25 crore even as uncapped players.

The costliest player in the IPL remains Virat Kohli, retained for Rs 17 crore by Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 4.40 crore. His base price was Rs 50 lakh.

England all-rounder Moeen Ali bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 7 crore.

Australian batsman Glenn Maxwell bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 14.25 crore.

Sachin Baby bagged by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 20 lakh

England pacer Tom Curran fetches winning bid of Rs 5.25 crore from Delhi Capitals. His base price was 1.50 crore.

New Zealand medium pacer Kyle Jamieson goes to Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 15 crore. His base price was Rs 75 lakh

Indian Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara bought by Chennai Super Kings for his base price of Rs 50 lakh

Uncapped Tamil Nadu all-rounder Shahrukh Khan bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 5.25 crore. His base price was Rs 20 lakh

Australian pacer Jhye Richardson bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 14 crore at IPL auction. His base price was Rs 1.50 crore
