Centre takes back 3 controversial farm laws, PM Modi announces in his address to the nation

The Centre on Friday took back its three contentious farm laws. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation announced this.

In an address to the nation, he said, “We have decided to repeal all three farm laws, will begin the procedure at the Parliament session that begins this month.” He urged the protesting farmers to “return home to their families and let’s start afresh”.

 

PM Narendra Modi in his address to nation said goal of three farm laws was to empower farmers, especially small farmers.
